Opening hours  

ATTENTION: The Zeppelin-Museum Zeppelinheim remains closed from Monday, 17 December 2018 until Thursday 10 January 2019. As of Friday, 11 January 2019  the Musem can be visited during the regular opening hours.

The museum is open on Fridays from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., on Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

  Guided tours  

For guided tours for groups (possible between Tuesdays and Sundays) have to be subscribed in advance. The fee for guided tours (in addition to the admission fee) is EUR 25.00 (for up to 20 persons), the fee increases for each additional person by EUR 1.00.

  Guided tours for children at the Zeppelin-Musem Zeppelinheim  

What exactly is a Zeppelin? Why is a Zeppelin called Zeppelin? What was so special about travelling in a Zeppelin? How does a Zeppelin work?

These and further questions are being answered at the Zeppelin-Museum Zeppelinheim. Guided by skilled experts children between 6 and 10 years of age can dive into the fascinating world of the Zeppelins. The guided tour is supplemented by interactive elements and takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.

The fee for the tour is EUR 25.00 per group (up to max. 20 children). Tour bookings have to be made at least 14 days in advance.

By car:
  Driving on the Autobahn A5 take exit 23 "Zeppelinheim" and follow the direction Neu-Isenburg / Zeppelinheim / Dreieich. At the first traffic light turn left into the street "Flughafenstraße". Follow the signs "Zeppelinmuseum".
    Driving on the Autobahn A3 take exit 51 "Walldorf" and drive through the roundabout/rotary intersection, taking the national road B44, following direction Groß-Gerau / Walldorf / Neu-Isenburg . Then take the second exit to Zeppelinheim. Follow the street until it ends at another road. Turn right and follow the signs "Zeppelinmuseum".

By public transport:  

From Neu-Isenburg via bus line OF 51 to stop "Ludwig-Dürr-Straße". Use the pedestrian walk way near to the bus stop heading to the street "Kapitän-Lehmann-Straße" and you will see the museum on the left side, easily recognizable by the impressive round roof structure.

From Frankfurt or Groß-Gerau by "S-Bahn" linie S 7 to Zeppelinheim. Walk on the street "Flughafenstraße" in the direction of the town center. turn left into "Mathilde-Rösch-Straße" and afterwards turn right into "Kapitän-Lehmann-Straße". Just follow the street for approx. 400m. The museum will appear on the right side, easily recognizable by the impressive round roof structure as an extension to the community center "Bürgerhaus Zeppelinheim".
